STUDIO/PRIVACY POLICY

What we collect, and why.

Effective October 8, 2026

01The short version

Studio is a planning and writing tool for short-form video creators. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

The short version: we collect what we need to run the app and generate your content, we do not sell your data, we do not use your content to train AI models, and you can delete everything yourself at any time.

02Who runs Studio

Studio is built and run by Brayden Ware, working as an individual in the United States. There is no company behind it and no staff. Questions about your data, or a request to see or delete it, go to support@trystudios.app.

Studio is in active testing. Features change often, and this policy changes with them.

03What we collect

Your email address. This is the one thing every account has, because it is how you sign in.

If you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture link, as Google reports them. We do not receive your Google password and we cannot see anything else in your Google account.

If you sign in with an emailed code: the code itself is never stored. We keep a scrambled version of it that cannot be turned back into the code, and we delete those rows within two days.

Your setup answers: the name you want to be called, your email, age range, what you make videos about, which platforms you post on, your goal, and your reading-level preference.

What you make in the app: hooks, scripts, video ideas, posts, plans, tasks, niches, research, and any writing samples you save as voice examples.

What you type into the tools: the topic or brief you give the hook and script writers.

Numbers from analytics screenshots you upload. The picture itself is read and then discarded, not saved. Only the figures pulled out of it, such as views and retention, are stored.

Feedback you send: your message, the page you sent it from, and your browser's identifying string.

If you turn on reminders: the notification address your browser issues for this device, plus the keys needed to deliver a message to it.

Which pages you open and which features you use, with the time. This is kept on our own server, never sent to an analytics company, and is deleted with your account. It records that a hook was written, not what the hook said.

When you try to sign in, a scrambled form of your network address, so we can stop someone hammering the sign-in form and burning the daily email allowance for everyone else. It is hashed with a secret key, so we cannot turn it back into your address, and the rows are deleted within a day.

Basic technical data needed to serve the app, and the functional cookies listed below. We do not store any password of yours, because Studio has no user passwords.

04Why we use it

To run the app: save your work, keep you signed in, and show you your own content across devices.

To generate for you: your brief, hook, or screenshot is sent to our AI provider so it can write or read the result.

To research for you: the terms or links you research are sent to the research providers below to find public videos.

To keep the service working and fair: daily usage counts stop any one account from running up costs, and help find and fix problems.

To fix what is broken: while Studio is in testing, we look at which features get used and which screens throw errors, so problems get found without waiting for someone to report them.

To email you a sign-in code when you ask for one.

05Who we share it with

We use a small number of outside services to make the app work, and send each only the minimum it needs. None of them receive your whole library.

Anthropic (AI generation and screenshot reading): the specific brief, hook, script, or screenshot you are working on. Anthropic does not train its models on data sent through its business API.

Resend (email delivery): your email address and the sign-in code, so the code can reach your inbox. Nothing else is emailed.

Google (only if you choose Google sign-in): the sign-in exchange itself. Google tells us your name, email address and picture link.

YouTube Data API (research): the search terms for a niche you research. Your use of YouTube features is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Apify (research): public post links and search terms, used to pull public videos and captions. Public data only, never your account details.

Railway (hosting) and Cloudflare (domain and network): they carry and store the app and its database on our behalf, in the United States.

Your browser's push service (only if you turn on reminders): the reminder itself, so it can reach your device.

If paid plans launch, Apple and Google will handle the payment and tell us only whether a subscription is active. We would never see or store your card.

06What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information or your content, and we do not share it for advertising.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and the AI provider we use does not train on data sent through its business API.

We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookies we set are the functional ones below.

We do not keep the analytics screenshots you upload.

07Cookies

Studio sets cookies purely to function: one to keep you signed in, one short-lived cookie holding the address you asked a sign-in code for, and a few that remember your setup, your reading-level choice, and whether you have seen the intro tour.

Sign-in cookies are signed and are set so that scripts on the page cannot read them, which protects your session. None of them are used for advertising and none are shared.

Clearing your cookies signs you out and resets those preferences. Your account and your work are unaffected.

08How long we keep it

Your account and your content stay for as long as your account exists.

Sign-in codes expire in ten minutes and their rows are deleted within two days. The scrambled sign-in addresses used for abuse limits are deleted within a day.

When you delete your account, we delete it and its content, including your setup answers and any sign-in codes for your address. It cannot be undone and there is no grace period.

If paid plans launch, content on an expired free trial would be cleared after the grace period described in the Terms of Service. That does not apply while Studio is free.

09Your choices and rights

You can get a copy of everything you have made: email support@trystudios.app and we will send it to you.

You can delete your account and its content from Settings.

You can turn reminders on or off at any time in Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to see, correct, or limit how your data is used, and to complain to a regulator. Email support@trystudios.app and we will help. We do not charge for this and we do not need a reason.

10Data security and location

Studio has no user passwords to steal: you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your inbox. Session cookies are signed, sign-in codes are stored scrambled and expire quickly, and each account can only read its own rows.

Anyone who can read your email can request a sign-in code for your account, so keep your inbox secure.

We use reasonable technical measures and limit who can reach the data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Studio is operated from the United States, and your data is stored and processed there and by the services listed above. Using the app means accepting that.

11Children

Studio is not for children. You must be at least 13, or the minimum age for online services where you live if that is higher. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete it if we learn we have.

12Changes to this policy

We update this policy as the product changes. For meaningful changes you will see a notice in the app before they take effect. The version and date at the top tell you which version you are reading.

13Contact

Questions about your privacy, or a request about your data: email support@trystudios.app, or use the Feedback button in the app.
